Black ink on white paper has been my medium of choice for some years, but recently I have had a thirst for something new so, I have begun to include color and figures in my work. When I first began to draw with colored ink, I felt as though I had switched from water to wine. It made me giddy to see the cacophony of tints glowing on my paper, but more often than not, it is still black that gives form and definition to the images that appear when I draw.

My pictures are not planned to look a certain way. The figures tend to emerge in strange settings. Sometimes it's as though I'm being told that things may not be what they seem to be, and that hiding within the bright neon hues one may find dark intentions, and chaos. In all of that, I hope that viewers will also discover some mystery, beauty, and even humor.
